TennCare Woes

I talked to my mother in Jackson Tennessee today and she said the TennCare situation is getting desperate there. The call prompted me to do a little searching.

TennCare's official web site has announced a PSA to try and get information to people that are candidates for being dumped. Some more people are headed toward situations that no American should have to face. The choice for some will be whether to buy their medicine or get groceries.

Tennessee Health Care Campaign is an advocacy group with a mission of trying to save TennCare. They say that the Governor of Tennessee is allowing 323,000 people to be eliminated from TennCare and some have serious medical conditions. There web site is tenncare.org and looks to be very sane with lots of information on the problem. Give it a look as this could be another canary in our coal mine.
